Allens Online turkeys are from our free-range farm in Tenterden, Kent.

The farm has produced free-range turkeys since 1999 and is spread over 68.5 acres, meaning the birds have plenty of space to roam freely.

The turkeys are delivered as one-day-old chicks and are raised on site, making sure quality is kept high throughout the birds' life.

The farms mission statement is as follows:

"To produce Turkeys to the highest quality , finish, flavour, texture and presentation, by traditional methods. Without the use of growth promoters, and by the highest welfare and environmentally friendly means available."

The farm is also a member of the Traditional Farmfresh Turkey Association (TFTA), who supply Turkeys under the Golden Promise scheme. This states:

"The special flavour and texture comes from traditional, slow growing turkeys, fed a natural diet, reared to full maturity, dry plucked and hung for at least seven days to enhance the flavour, just as they would have been through the centuries. Golden Promise turkeys are the only ones that come with a quality guarantee."
