Wagyu is graded from 1 to 12 depending on the amount of marbling running through the meat.
Our Australian Wagyu is grade 6-7, and is some of the best quality you can buy in the UK.
Traditionally Wagyu Beef is cooked medium rare, if not a little longer so the marbled fat can melt and release all the intense flavours.
This simple cooking technique will let your Wagyu Beef speak for itself.
First start by heating your frying pan on a medium high heat for five minutes.
Pour clarified butter or olive oil into the pan, add the steaks and cook the Wagyu Beef for 90 seconds on each side.
Test the meat with a thermometer to make sure it’s between 130 to 135 degrees before removing form the heat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
