We deliver fresh to your door to all UK Mainland unless specified below

Our standard delivery charge is £9.00

Delivery is free on all orders over £75.00

Delivery will change if a special offer brings a price back below £75

Free delivery over £75 order is not valid on certain promotional activity

Free delivery offer does not apply to certain marketing and promotional activity

Unfortunately we currently can not deliver to the following destinations due to courier restrictions:

 

Scottish Highlands postcodes IV, KW1-14, PA34, PA37-39, PH19-40, PH41 4, PH49-50.
Scottish Islands.
Northern Ireland.
Isle of Man.
Shetland Islands.
Orkney Islands.
Channel Islands.

 

However for some orders we maybe able to use a special courier so please feel free to contact us with any enquires on 020 8852 8401 and we will try our best to get you your delivery of fresh quality meat.

All standard orders are sent by courier, and will be delivered straight to your door according to your chosen delivery time on the delivery day you specified when checking out.

 

Please ensure that there will be someone to accept the delivery on your chosen day, or stipulate in the delivery comments box what the courier should do if no-one is home.

 

All of Allens goods are despatched fresh and cut specifically to your order
We don't believe in freezing our meat.

 

We use technologically advanced packaging which maintains the temperature of packed goods for up to 48 hours.
However, all of our parcels are delivered within 24 hours of them leaving us so there is no danger of the goods exceeding a safe temperature - even on hot days.

 

Once you have received your goods it is then your choice to keep them in the fridge, freeze them or just eat it all that day.

You can place an order with us by completing our online checkout process, or by telephone on 0844 880 2460.

We operate a 3 day ordering system of:
Day 1: Order Placed.
Day 2: Order is freshly prepared and collected by our courier.
Day 3: Order is delivered.
These are *working days*, and do not include weekends

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Payment is taken by credit or debit card only, on receipt of order.
We do not accept American Express cards.
Payment can be made through Paypal following the link in Checkout.

Any promotional offers will be applied on checkout, if they are not, please do not confirm your order.
Instead, contact our Customer Services who will correct the total price.

 

Viewing Orders

If you have registered with us, you can view your orders by clicking on My Account at the top of the screen.

 

Cancellations & Returns

As our products are supplied fresh and prepared to order, we regret that once an order is placed it is not possible to cancel it, and refunds cannot be given.
In the unlikely event of a product being unsatisfactory, please contact our Customer Services immediately - but please do not return goods without first speaking to us.

 

Questions and Answers

Q. How much does the delivery cost?
A. The delivery charge is £9, but if your goods total £75 or above then delivery is free.

Q. How quickly can you deliver to me?
A. We can deliver all orders in 3 days.
You place the order on Day 1, we freshly cut it on Day 2, and you receive it on Day 3.

Q. Is there anywhere you don't deliver?
A. Unfortunately we can't deliver to the Scottish Highlands, postcodes IV, KW1-14, PA34, PA37-39, PH19-40, PH41 4, PH49-50.
This is because our couriers can't get to you within 24 hours, and we can't guarantee the temperature of the meat for longer than that.
This also applies to the Shetland, Orkney, and Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man.

Q. I don't want to wait in all day, can I specify a delivery time?
A.We do have a staggered delivery option, just chose which suits you best in the checkout when you place your order.
Our courier drivers are told that if there is no-one home when they deliver, they should leave the parcel with a neighbour or somewhere safe.
If you have any requests for where parcels should be left if you are not there, please tell us in the 'Special Instructions' box in Checkout.

Q. It's past my allotted delivery time and my delivery isn't here, do you know where it is?
A. Give us a call on 0844 880 2460 and we will find out what is happening with your order.

Q. There's something that I'm looking for that isn't listed, do you sell it?
A. We have a wide list of contacts, and we can source most meat items.
If there is a specific item you need and you can't find it on the site, please email our Master Butchers.
They'll let you know prices and how long it will take for us to get for you.

Q. Will the meat I've bought be sent to me fresh or frozen?
A. We don't believe in freezing our meat.
We send everything fresh, as we think that it keeps the quality high. However, there are some products which we have to freeze.
Our Black and White Pudding and Haggis are sent out frozen, they will have begun to defrost when they reach you, and should not be re-frozen. We have to freeze them as we buy them in direct from our Scottish supplier, and they would delay the rest of your order if we bought them in fresh for each custmer. So we keep a frozen stock of them.

Q. How will the temperature be maintained?
A. Your goods are sent with technologically advanced Ice Pads, and wrapped in bubble wrap. This keeps them cool throughout their journey to you.
All orders are dispatched in Polystyrene boxes that further help to maintain their temperature.
